How do arouse interest in Science in children?
Science can be silly and fun. We should only take advantage of the natural interests of children and the resources we have. From an early age, children are fascinated by everything around them. As they grow older, they touch, experiment, and ask questions. They are researchers by nature from knowing the environment and how it works. In addition to fun, it is essential to guarantee survival.
This generation of curiosity can help us awaken interest in science through simple experiments and materials for everyday use or easy access. If we also compare scientific knowledge to real-life experiences, the interest will be even more significant for them.
How can you bring your children closer to science?
2.1 Testing
You do not have to have a laboratory at home. Not even what you buy tools or other things. You can do a lot of experimentation with creative materials or be easy to find. The kitchen is an excellent laboratory. Children can touch, mix and observe many physical, chemical, and biological events. They can also see flavors and products. Mix items, play with food, prepare solutions, keep track of different products, and see which things float and which do not.
Stupid activities like making coffee, boiling water or freezing a drink or it was an egg can help us explain the reaction, a change in the level of substances, or the expression of proteins. Looking or observing is helpful to develop an interest in science in children.
