Reasons Why Your Instagram Growth is STUCK!
You are not regular when it comes to posting new content
Well, we all know how hellish it is to grow your Instagram account in an organic way, especially if you are an artist, or an influencer, a creator, or a business. It can often feel like you have reached a dead-end from where you cannot figure a way out of. Buying monthly Instagram likes did not help, your follower count is not growing and overall engagement on your page is stagnant.
We know, we know, that you have been doing everything by the book, and now you are wondering where did I go wrong?
You might have gone wrong in the most unexpected places. Here’s the thing, you have made some mistakes in trying to make your Instagram page thrive, and when you have reached such a stagnant point, you lose motivation. Sometimes, you may wonder if you will ever be able to achieve your goals.
Instagram is a crafty platform, and the algorithm is craftier. Making a small mistake might cost you for a long time. So to help you avoid that, let’s go over some core reasons why your Instagram page is not growing.
1. You are not regular when it comes to posting new content.
Consistency is key! Repeat that along with us.
It is of paramount significance that you maintain consistency for gratifying end-result. Sure, it takes time, but believe us, it is worth it. It does not matter what your niche is – always have a plan on what to post on what days of the week, follow that, and repeat.
If you do not post consistently, you are absent from your work – yes, it is just like being absent from a class or work. You do not know what you are missing out on and your audience does not know what could be going on. Thus, after a while of not hearing from you in the form of new content, they will forget who you are or what your business is about.
You are not being creative.
Okay, so you have downloaded this cute looking template from Canva, and you post that as is, on your Instagram page. You do not customize it according to your niche’s requirement. You do not add any “spice” to your post, and there is no element on these posts that show your audience your brand.
Well, that is probably why your audience is bored, because they cannot see anything different on your page.
1. You value follower quantity over quality.
You are so determined to reach a certain number of followers that you went on google, looked up “monthly instagram packages” and selected the very first search result. Now, you are ripped off of quite a few dollars, and are left with fake followers.
Instagram’s algorithm has canceled the *bleep* out of you, and you have no idea what to do. That’s why they say chasing vanity is a sin.
These followers are usually bots, they are not real people, and sometimes even if they are real people, they are not your niche related audience.
1. You have cast a blind eye on the statistics.
This is quite a common one. Make sure you analyze your posts every month and see which ones have performed the best, and what time of the day your posts are received well. Observe how your audience is interacting on your posts, and which of your posts have the most interaction – likes, comments, replies, saves, shares and so on.
This helps you re-adjust your social media marketing strategies and make whatever improvements you need to make in order to get the most from your Instagram page, and the platform’s algorithm as a whole.
Last but not the least, at times when you are stuck and you do not have a clue where to go from there, you can repeat an entire plan you might have had made for the week. This could go a long way, as it helps you remain consistent. There is nothing in having a huge amount of followers and almost zero interaction, make sure you keep them all together, by not making them bored. Your follower base is your community, and if they are real and loyal, that could take you a long way.
